Electricity in doll house gives it a realistic appearance by adding depth, dimension and character to it. Installing electricity in doll house can be frustrating some time as it is not easy to play with small wires, transformers and lights.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: Less than two hours.
Here's How:
If your doll house is multi-storied doll house, concentrate on the first floor first.
Decide where you will start the wiring, so that you can attach the junction slice to the house. It should be such a place from where wires can be run easily from transformers to junction slice.
Try to run the wire along the wall so that it can be easily covered.
Apply quality adhesive so that short circuit can be avoided.
Plug the transformer into the wall socket
Turn on the switch on the lead-in-wire.
Put the load as per the capacity of the transformer.
Once you are over with wiring and installing switches, bulbs, transformers, let the electricity run and see your doll house glowing.
Tips:
Do all types of paintings and wallpapering before electric wiring.
Don’t touch the adhesive side of the tape, as it will reduce the adhesive quality
Always have the switch off while you are running tape or making connections, so that you will not cause a short.
Plan to install more outlets than necessary in the beginning, because this will make the addition of more lights easier in the future.
