Doll house
miniatures are any items used in dollhouses that are scaled
down in size from the original item. Doll house miniatures
have been very popular and have been used by centuries. Prime
examples of doll house miniatures are the elegant cabinet
houses used by the Dutch families and the kitchen miniatures
used to teach the young girls their household duties by the
Germans. Dollhouse miniatures use the scale of 1 inch, ½
inch and ¼ inch where in the doll houseminiatures scales
1inch equals 1 foot.
Most of us use kitchen tables or dining tables for stacking
the dollhouse miniatures. And we have to stow them away
every night. Some dedicated miniaturists have a separate
room where they store and organize their dollhouse miniatures.
It is best to compartmentalize them by different categories
and then store them for example, the materials, tools, paints,
sandpapers and wall papers, fabrics, moldings, paints, wood
and cardboard and other accessories. It will be further
easier to store your dollhouse miniatures if you again
compartmentalize it according to scale.i.e miniatures of
a similar size can be stored together in the same container.
The dollhouse miniatures can be stored in the plastic containers
and should be neatly labeled to make it easier to find a
specific miniature.
